The Cartooning for Peace Geneva City Prize is awarded biennially on World Press Freedom Day. The award honours editorial cartoonists for their exceptional and courageous contributions to peace, tolerance and freedom of expression.
In 2016, cartoonists Zunar (Malaysia) and Gado (Kenya) received the prize.
True Heroes Films filmed the awards ceremony, produced short portraits of Zunar and Gado, and provided content to Euronews for international news reports.
